How it works 🛠️

The system consists of two components working together:

Browser Extension 🔌

Chat Mode:

1. Navigate to ChatGPT/Claude/Perplexity
2. Click "Export to Chat" button or extension popup
3. Select chat and modify prompt if needed
4. Review generated flashcards
5. Export as Anki package

Context Mode:

1. Right-click any text on any website
2. Select "Add to context for Anki Flashcards"
3. Add multiple contexts from different sites
4. Click "Generate flashcards" in popup
5. Review and export flashcards

Anki Addon 📚

1. Direct integration with Anki desktop
2. Auto-imports flashcard packages from extension
3. Requires Anki running in background

Quick Start 🚀

Install Browser Extension

Method 1: Chrome Web Store (Recommended) Coming soon - extension under review

Method 2: Manual Installation

1. Clone repository or download ZIP
2. Navigate to browser-extension/ folder
3. Open Chrome → chrome://extensions/
4. Enable "Developer mode"
5. Click "Load unpacked" → Select extension folder

Install Anki Addon

Method 1: AnkiWeb (Recommended) Coming soon - will be available after cleanup

Method 2: Manual Installation

1. Navigate to anki-addon/ folder
2. Open Anki → Tools → Add-ons
3. Click "Install from file"
4. Select anki-addon folder
5. Restart Anki (Important!)
